Shine Brighter than the Sun with Yellow Gold
As summer approaches, our thoughts and swimsuit bodies turn to the Sun.
We toast and tan ourselves on beach vacations, island getaways and cruises in the summer.
There has also been a surge of golden gowns making their way down the step and repeat of exclusive red carpet events.
At the 2015 Met Gala there were 6 golden gowns which walked the red carpet. Count it- Six of the same hue of gown that was not black or red. This is a very exciting moment for all that is gold.
More importantly it means that yellow gold is truly back. And it is being worn in the most bold way possible. Just look at Rhianna’s Guo Pei Haute Couture gown which she donned at the 2015 Met Gala; the gown inspired many in the fashion world and also many humorous photoshop memes. What is fashion and art if we can’t have a little bit of fun with it? I even read somewhere that Rhianna wore The Sun.
