Her Story
From the runways of New York
to the shores of Naples
Amanda has been designing jewelry since she was a child. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she took off for New York City — designing for fashion powerhouses Givenchy, Tommy Hilfiger, Nine West and Jones New York before leading the design team at Avon. During her decade in New York she also crafted runway pieces for the exclusive couture houses of Europe.
Amanda ultimately found her muse in her native, sun-drenched Florida, and settled in Naples — fittingly called the “crown jewel” of Florida.
The Beginning
Designing jewelry from childhood; BFA, University of the Arts, Philadelphia.
New York
Givenchy, Tommy Hilfiger, Nine West, Jones New York — then head of design at Avon. Runway pieces for European couture houses.
2004
A. JARON Fine Jewelry opens in Naples, Florida.
Today
A studio inside the Mermaid Building in the Bayshore Arts District, which Amanda helped found.
